I am pleased to introduce you to the Smileland team. They are wonderful people, professionals who share a passion for dentistry. They view their work as a calling and maintain an empathetic approach toward patients and their needs.
Working as a team brings significant advantages, whether it’s covering for a colleague attending a conference, engaging in mutual consultations, or benefiting from each team member’s specialization. The diverse range of dental disciplines today is simply too vast for a single dentist to cover alone. I am deeply grateful to be part of such a dedicated team of skilled professionals with their hearts in the right place.

MUDr. Markéta Neckářová, MBA
Head Dentist, Managing Director
Markéta graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Masaryk University in Brno in 2007. In 2014, she founded the Smileland Dental Center.
She is a visionary who is passionate about continuously moving things forward. In her free time, she expands her knowledge by attending dental courses and conferences in the Czech Republic and abroad, and by studying functional medicine at the Functional Medicine University.
She loves a healthy lifestyle, including biohacking, yoga, and nutritious eating. Markéta is incredibly kind, compassionate, and always has a smile on her face. Patients feel safe and completely at ease in her dental chair. Her work is focused on precision and attention to detail.
MUDr. Dana Pokorná
Dentist
She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Masaryk University in Brno in 2007. Since then, she has dedicated herself to what fulfills her the most — helping patients achieve healthy and beautiful teeth. As a mother of two children, this life experience has led her to a deeper understanding of patients’ needs and great empathy for young patients. Since 2015, she has been an indispensable part of the Smileland team. Her specialization is in aesthetic and preventive dentistry. After work, she often swaps her work shoes for running shoes and runs marathons.
MDDr. Lucie Trňáčková
Dentist
Lucie graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Masaryk University in Brno in 2015. She has nine years of experience working in both Czech and international clinics.
She spent three years at an implantology clinic in Brighton, England.
Her focus is on preventive, minimally invasive, and holistic dental care. Patients feel relaxed and safe in her dental chair.
Lucie has a deep interest in nutrition and dietary habits that promote healthy teeth. She is passionate about creating non-toxic home and work environments. Believing that health begins in the mouth, she studies the oral microbiome and proper physiological breathing. Lucie is convinced that holistic care of the teeth, gums, and oral mucosa significantly impacts overall health.
Lucie is incredibly kind, responsible, and meticulous, making her patients feel secure and at ease.
MDDr. Edita Horká
Dentist
Edita graduated from the First Faculty of Medicine at Charles University in Prague. After her studies, she pursued postgraduate research at the Stomatology Research Institute affiliated with Charles University.
Edita is the author and co-author of professional articles focused on CBCT and endodontics.
Since 2017, she has divided her time between a dental practice in Mohelno and Smileland. She enhances her dental expertise by studying traditional Chinese medicine and actively attends both Czech and international training courses. She is a passionate user of the operating microscope, finding great fulfillment in endodontics and aesthetic dentistry. Edita is also experienced and compassionate when working with anxious patients.
MDDr. Karolína Svobodová
Dentist
She graduated from Masaryk University in Brno in 2019 and has been part of the Smileland team since 2022. Her specialties are microscopic endodontics and aesthetic dentistry.
She is an enthusiastic participant in both international and domestic dental conferences and training programs.
Conscientious, meticulous, and passionate about her work, she holds herself and her patients to high standards, with the goal of achieving perfect results. She loves dental photography and tackling new, challenging dental cases.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, road cycling, and teaching yoga. These activities help her find inner peace and relaxation after demanding workdays.
Klára Cacková, DiS.
Dental Hygienist / Manager
Klára graduated from the Secondary Medical School and Higher Vocational School of Health Merhautova in Brno with a degree in Dental Hygiene.
In 2018, she completed a study internship at Utrecht University. Shortly after graduation, she worked in the UK, and in 2021, she joined our team as a dental hygienist and manager. She lectures at universities, and in 2024, she earned a top-level certification as an official iTOP trainer.
She prepares future dental hygienists for their careers at the Secondary Medical School and Higher Vocational School of Health Merhautova.
What she enjoys most about her work is witnessing the progress her patients make with her support. A satisfied patient’s smile is her greatest reward. Klára is exceptionally considerate and approaches each patient individually and with humility.

MDDr. Marek Gužmer
Dentist
Marek graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Masaryk University and has been part of the Smileland team since 2023.
His specialization is restorative dentistry.
He has a calm and open demeanor and is known for his precision, thoroughness, and empathy. He understands that meticulous work needs to be balanced with quality leisure activities. Marek is a passionate athlete who enjoys mountain hiking, running, skiing, and many other pursuits.
MUDr. František Rusznyak
Oral Surgeon
He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Masaryk University in Brno in 2007. He works at the Department of Oral, Jaw, and Facial Surgery at Brno University Hospital, specializing in orthognathic surgery, jaw anomaly corrections, facial skeletal trauma, and severe temporomandibular joint disorders.
He visits our clinic every two weeks for surgical tooth extractions — a chance to relax a bit. 🙂 Naturally, he holds the record for the fastest tooth extraction!
MUDr. Tomáš Brázda
Implantologist
Tomáš graduated in dentistry from the Faculty of Medicine at Palacký University in Olomouc in 2004. After graduation, he joined the Department of Dentoalveolar Surgery and Dental Implantology at the Dental Clinic in Hradec Králové. He specializes in dental implants, augmentation procedures, and shortened treatment protocols. For several years, he has focused on the diagnosis and treatment of peri-implantitis.
He has placed over 12,000 dental implants. Tomáš is the author or co-author of 25 publications and 40 lectures, mainly on implantology topics. He has also contributed to teaching students through lectures and clinical practice sessions in implantology. Additionally, he has produced 18 instructional films.
Since March 2016, he has been an implantologist in our Smileland team. Tomáš’s combination of exceptional professionalism, extensive experience, and empathetic approach makes him the dentist of choice for anyone in need of an implant.
Tereza Orságová, DiS.
Dental Hygienist
Tereza graduated from the Secondary Medical School and Higher Vocational School of Health Merhautova in Brno, specializing in Dental Technology and Dental Hygiene. In 2018, she completed a study internship at Utrecht University. She has been practicing dental hygiene since 2019.
Tereza is meticulous, conscientious, diligent, kind, and exceptionally accommodating to patients. She enjoys working with children, and as a mother of two young daughters, she shows great understanding and empathy for her youngest patients.
Jana Zemánková
Dental Hygienist
Jana graduated from the Secondary Medical School and Higher Vocational School Merhautova in Brno as a certified dental hygienist. She is a friendly, meticulous, and cheerful member of our team. Patients can look forward to a professional approach and treatment following the GBT protocol.
Veronika Koukalová
Receptionist
Veronika studied Tourism and worked as a receptionist and manager in a hotel from 2014. Since 2023, she has been the head receptionist at Smileland. Veronika is incredibly positive, cheerful, friendly, and professional. She handles any issue with ease and remains calm even in stressful situations.
What does she enjoy most about her job? Communicating with people, maintaining organization, and keeping things in order.
Babeta Gajdošová
Dental Nurse
Babetka graduated from the Secondary Medical School EA in Brno and has been part of our team since 2017. She is always cheerful, empathetic, and incredibly kind. She most frequently assists MDDr. Trňáčková and MDDr. Svobodová, or you may encounter her warm smile at the reception desk.
What she finds most fulfilling about her work is communicating with patients and creating a friendly atmosphere that fosters a sense of safety and harmony.
Veronika Šenková
Dental Nurse
Veronika graduated from the Secondary Medical School Jaselská in Brno, specializing as a healthcare assistant. She has been working at Smileland since 2018, assisting MUDr. Pokorná, with whom she forms an inseparable duo.
Veronika brings great humor and positive energy to the office, and you’ll never catch her with a frown.
What she enjoys most about her work? Communicating and building friendly relationships with patients.
Nikola Staňková
Dental Nurse
Nikolka graduated from the Higher Vocational School and Secondary School of Health in Třebíč. She has been part of the Smileland team since 2021.
An indispensable support for MUDr. Neckářová and MUDr. Gužmer, she excels in four-handed dentistry. Shortly after joining Smileland, she won first place in a competition for the best dental assistance in Jihlava.
Nikolka is kind, empathetic, and always smiling.
What does she enjoy most about her work? The variety of procedures and being part of a team dedicated to helping people.
Valeria Khripunová
Dental Nurse
Valeria joined Smileland in 2024 immediately after graduating from the Secondary Medical School Jaselská in Brno. She is the newest and youngest member of our team. In the future, she aspires to further her education in dental hygiene. She is the primary assistant to MDDr. Horká.
Valeria is kind, responsible, compassionate with patients, and attentive to the needs of the dentist.
Lenka Brázdová
Implantology Nurse
Lenka is a specialized nurse in implantology and aesthetic dermatology. Kind, empathetic, always smiling, and organized, she embodies the ideal dental nurse every dentist dreams of having. The name resemblance with Dr. Brázda is not purely coincidental. 🙂
