The initial examination process

The initial examination includes an assessment, consultation, removal of plaque, tartar, and stains using the Airflow Prophylaxis Master, followed by manual polishing, fluoridation, selection of appropriate home care tools, including 2 interproximal brushes for free, and the establishment of a further treatment plan.

What does a follow-up visit include?

The follow-up (recall) dental hygiene visit after the initial examination includes, if necessary, the application of local anaesthesia, removal of plaque, tartar above and below the gum line (deep scaling), and stains using the Airflow Prophylaxis Master, manual polishing, fluoridation, and a check of the correct dental tools.

What’s included in the price

The law clearly defines how prices must be calculated and what may be included in them. Every clinic must be able to demonstrate at any time how a specific price was determined. Compliance with these rules is overseen by the Ministry of Finance. Simply put, if we provide you with medical care, we are required to calculate its real cost accurately and transparently. The price of treatment does not cover only the doctor’s work; it also includes other items such as, for example:

The time of the doctor and medical staff
The team’s training, experience, and responsibility
Used materials (fillings, instruments, supplies)
Equipment and its maintenance
Sterilization and hygiene procedures
Clinic operating costs (energy, rent, administration)
A reasonable profit permitted by law
